Crib – Forward Back
Crib is Devin Sarno. Crib is (often) solo electric bass guitar explorations into the most floaty regions of The Milky Way—and your empty headspace. Crib is “ambient.” Crib is drifting. Crib is dreaming. Crib is the perfect thing to slap on when bedtime has arrived in your crib. Forward Back is a year 2000 collection of remastered tracks spanning 1995-1999 and mostly culled from various possibly rare and maybe out-of-print compilations. Give birth to another me if I’m wrong, but I do believe it’s Petra Haden weaving some awfully nice ‘n’ soarin’ violin lines in one of these slow sonic mists. Overall, this little coaster is completely non-offensive ’n’ quite wunnerful. Crack open a cold one and enjoy.
