Today, I just took it easy and rested after yesterday’s epic snorkeling trip courtesy of Caveman Tours. Plus, I was still dealing with a heat rash on my legs that I’ve had ever since I hiked around the Tikal Mayan temple complex in Guatemala. I mostly stayed inside and caught up on blogs, only venturing outside a couple of times for grub. For dinner, I got lassoed into Roy’s, where I had a plate of gnarly nachos completely piled high with melted cheese, sour cream, Jalapeño peppers and vegetables for only $5.00. I also found a stand called Scoop Dis that offers up delicious homemade ice cream served in waffle cones. At $3.00 for one scoop, though, it was really expensive but worth it.
