I woke up around 7:00 am to the tune of little kids shrieking and splashing around down in the swimming pool, an extremely irritating sound that continued non-stop for a full five hours until the families finally left around 1:00 pm. To make matters worse, quite a few other guests–many of them young people in their 20s from Japan, China and South Korea–also frequently shouted, laughed and carried on loudly and slammed doors on all floors day and night. I decided I’d ask to be moved to a quieter area of the building the next day, because I was at my wits’ end. I just laid under the air-con all day, occasionally eating down in the cafe and getting rested up to start exploring this town tomorrow, hopefully.

Kinda like the Balma Barm with the sound of barking dogs.
