All These Colors Tour: India Part 43

    Friday, October 26, 2012
    Delhi, India

A classic random assemblage of rubbish on Arakashan Road in Paharganj, Delhi, India.

A miniature, color-splashed castle on Qutab Road in Paharganj, Delhi, India.

A pair of distressed acoustic guitars in a music shop in the Main Bazaar of Paharganj, Delhi, India.

Since I felt somewhat better today, I decided to go out for a short walk to the moneychanger and to eat at the Everest cafe–one of many hotel rooftop joints that dot the skies of Delhi. Hell, it seems like many–if not most–of the hotels in India boast a similar set-up, and they all serve the same fare, and it’s okay but not great. Then I bought a handful of super amazing Indian stickers–including Kali, om, a swastika and a few others–from a guy who sells them on a cart. I wish other countries designed stickers that looked this good.
