Before sunset today, I strolled around the scenic cobblestone back lanes of central Cuzco to shoot a few photos in actual decent lighting. I also visited the Templo San Blas and Catedral de Cuzco, but no photography (with or without flash) was allowed inside–even though I shelled out three bucks to get into each one. Oh, well! After that, I schlepped up the staircased hill on the north side of town to another Catholic church called San Crisobal. After checking out the ornate interior, I admired an awesome overview of Cuzco from the plaza just outside. It was really quite pleasant to see the whole city bathed in the golden light of the setting sun.
