Although my sore throat seems like it’s about 95% of the way healed, it still occasionally feels a little bit tender. Hopefully, my body will kill off the remaining bacteria, as I’ve already finished the course of Zithromax antibiotics. As if that weren’t enough, the health problems keep coming at me one right after another. Last night, when I walked to get a fruit shake a couple of blocks away, I could tell that a couple of blisters were starting to form on my right middle toes from my long walk to the Dusit Zoo on Wednesday, so I decided to stay in my room all day today to hopefully nip that problem in the bud before it gets worse. I also had to let my feet and lower leg muscles recover some more. Here’s hoping I can get out and about tomorrow and walk around Bangkok somewhere, because I hate being cooped up in my room all day! On the bright side, the downtime gave me a chance to read up on Sumatra, as I’m thinking about flying there in early August before I head to Bali in September.
